Southern Sweet Potato Casserole - Daisy Brand

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup Daisy Brand sour cream
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup melted butter

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350F 175C

In a large bowl, mix together mashed sweet potatoes, sour cream, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, salt, and beaten eggs until well combined

Spread the sweet potato mixture evenly in a greased baking dish

In a separate bowl, combine chopped pecans, brown sugar, flour, and melted butter to make the topping

Sprinkle the topping mixture evenly over the sweet potato mixture in the baking dish

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the casserole is heated through
