Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 1/4 cup minced green pepper
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Pickles
- Mayonnaise
- Mustard
Instructions:
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, minced onion, minced green pepper, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper
Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties
Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat
Cook the burger patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness is reached
During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and allow it to melt
Toast the burger buns on the grill or skillet for a minute until lightly golden
Assemble the burgers by spreading mayonnaise and mustard on the bottom bun, then adding lettuce leaves, tomato slices, pickles, a cheesy burger patty, and finally the top bun
Serve hot and enjoy!
