Ingredients:
- 1/4 lb ground beef
- 1 sesame seed bun
- 2 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup caramelized onions
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 1 pickle slice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Warm up a pan or grill on the stove over medium-high heat
Set the grill or pan on high heat
Make two equal portions of ground beef and shape them into patties
Add salt and pepper to each patty
For medium-rare, grill the burger patties for three to four minutes on each side
You can cook them longer if you like them more done
Add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty and let it melt in the last minute of cooking
It's possible to grill or toast the sesame seed bun halves until they get a light brown color
Spread mayonnaise on the bottom bun, then ketchup and yellow mustard on the top bun, and put the burger together
Put a burger patty on the bottom bun with melted cheddar cheese on top of it
Add a slice of pickle and caramelized onions on top
To finish the burger, put the top bun with the toppings on top of the other ingredients
Serve your McDonald's Cheddar Melt right away and enjoy it!
